To: r_tovar From: k_hough Date: September 11 Subject: Trip to Manchester Dear Mr. Tovar,
I’m looking forward to traveling to Manchester with you on Friday. The proposed grounds for our new conference center must be examined thoroughly before we decide to purchase the site. We’ll be expected to submit an in-depth report when we get back, so I’m planning on bringing a laptop computer in order to complete some of the work at the hotel.
The company has purchased our plane tickets and I have attached a copy of the itinerary to this e-mail. As you will see, we arrive in Manchester at 9 A.M. The property owner wants to meet us at 10:30. Therefore, please pack all of your items in a carry-on bag so that we don’t have to check any baggage. This will save us a lot of time at the airport.
As for arriving at the airport, I know we originally talked about carpooling together, but this won’t be an option for me anymore. Upon our return, I have to leave directly from the airport for a meeting, so I’ll need my own vehicle there. So, I’ll just plan on meeting you at the gate.
If you have any questions about the trip, just let me know.
Regards, Kathleen Hough
