Dear Ms. Keany,
In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I would like to take this opportunity to bring to your attention the company policy on year-end bonuses for employees before the payments 1.-------. I hope this email explains the matter to your satisfaction.
Employees who have worked full-time for Ashe Direct for a period of at least six months receive a year-end bonus in the amount of 10% of their monthly pay. You have been with the company for nearly a year, but you did not begin your full-time position until September 3rd. 2.-------, you will not be eligible for a bonus this year. I want to express that you are a highly-valued employee and your work thus far has been exemplary. You are certainly 3.------- of a bonus for your efforts, but giving you one at this time would violate company policy and would be unfair to other employees.
