The girl had ② ________ __ _____ __ ___ ____ ____ an attendance book for misbehaving in physical education class and retaliated by slapping her instructor across the face. Her teacher proceeded to hit and kick the student, leaving her severely wounded and in need of medical treatment that lasted 12 weeks.
The high school student, who was a sophomore at the time of the incident, had acted out when her teacher refused to let her take one of her scheduled physical exams. The exam ③ ___ __ ____________ ___ her planned early graduation. The physical education teacher ref used the girl's right to take the exam and demanded that she step aside so that other students could continue. When the student protested firmly, the incident developed into the physical attack.
The student was ④ ________ __ her school administration ___ disobeying and hitting her teacher and was ordered to attend six days of special lectures. The girl complied with her punishment but then filed a law suit with the Seoul Administrative Court against the school claiming that her actions were justifiable as self-defense against the teacher's inappropriate behavior and use of physical violence.

It also found the school not guilty of abusing its discretion when dealing with the student, despite her serious injuries. The school fined the teacher 3 million won, however, and handed out a disciplinary warning after the student filed her lawsuit.
