Dear Ms. Carstens,
Thank you for your interest in the summer internship program at Linstrom Inc. The objective of this program is to train self-motivated individuals who are looking for a way to expand their business networks, develop their leadership skills, and become familiar with our field. Eligible participants must hold a four-year undergraduate degree and be currently pursuing a graduate-level business degree. The preferred fields of study for the undergraduate level are economics and accounting, as they are the most closely related to our business. However, all candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. During the internship, participants will be paid at an hourly rate.
To submit an application online, use the “Apply” button on the top of our home page. The application period for the summer session begins on February 1st and ends on April 5th. Any applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. After the initial application period, applicants under consideration will be invited for an in-person interview between April 18th and April 22nd. Out-of-town applicants will be given a phone interview during the same week if they are unable to visit the office in person. Interns who are accepted to the program must be ready to report to our head office on June 11th at 9 a.m. to begin the internship. I hope this email answers your questions.
