Life and Death Gets New Life on 25th Anniversary
February 10—On the 25th anniversary of its debut, Life and Death was released again in a number of theaters across the nation. Kirby Wescott wrote the script in 1987 and worked with director David Swain to create the film. Wescott himself 1.------- as the main character in the film, Henry Cannon. Henry is a bookstore owner with a terminal illness looking for a way to make his last moments on earth meaningful. Despite his worsening condition, Henry overcomes 2.------- gets in his way of finding peace and happiness. The film was nominated for numerous awards at the time of its release. Although the style and technology of the movie seem outdated by today’s standards, it is just as 3.------- to watch as it was twenty-five years ago.
