Part and Parcel had fans singing Experts 1. -------Part and Parcel, the debut album from new British pop group The Soul
Collectors, to reach the top of the charts. Featuring the band's breakout hit, Jackpot, as well as
other number one singles Heartless, I Don't Think So, and White Lights, the album was always
destined to be a hit. But the extent of the success since its official release on Wednesday has
taken everyone by surprise. As of Sunday, Part and Parcel had already sold 50,000 copies,
making it one of the best-selling albums of the year already. In some locations, fans even waited
overnight outside record stores in order to 2.------- their copy of the album as soon as it came
on sale. Band members had not anticipated such a strong response, with band leader George
Percy telling reporters that he was "shocked but delighted" by the popularity of Part and Parcel.
In spite of its commercial success, most music critics are unimpressed by Part and Parcel. The
consensus among reviewers is that, while catchy, the music lacks originality. 3.-------, The
