TO: Dennis Barry FROM: Customer Service DATE: May 25th SUBJECT: Re: Repair request Thank you for your interest in using Quick Tech's services. In response to your request, I cannot give you an exact cost for the services you need. The final cost will depend on the amount of time taken for the procedures. However, I can give you an estimate. For setting up a wireless router for your office and configuring the computers, the service charge is about $150, but it will depend on the number of machines you have. Also, this charge does not include any parts. If you haven't already purchased a router, we will be happy to provide you with one from our parts store. Additionally, you mentioned that you needed a secure way to store data. I recommend a full data backup of all of the hard drives in your office. This information can be stored on an external hard drive, and I recommend the hard drive is kept in a secure location away from the office. That way, if there is a fire or theft, your information is not lost. The cost of backing up all computers (up to 8), is $100. However, it is not a difficult procedure, though time-consuming, so many customers prefer to do it themselves. If you are happy with these terms, please email me back and let me know when would be a convenient time for me to visit your offices. This is actually a busy time of year, so the sooner you can make an appointment, the better. Cheers, Cory Maskell |
