Hillcrest City’s Annual Summer Movie Festival
The Annual Summer Movie Festival, organized by the Hillcrest Parks and Recreation Department, will be held from June 16 to August 4. The venue has been changed from its usual location. Because of the building of a meeting center at Willow Park, the festival will take place at Lambert Park instead. The series will include family-friendly movies being shown free of charge every Saturday evening starting at 7:30 P.M.
“In association with Hillcrest City, we are proud to be a sponsor of this popular community festival once again,” said Mr. Shen Chiu, president of Upland Bank. “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to give back to a community that has been so loyal to us.”
Since Lambert Park is quite a bit smaller than Willow Park, participants are encouraged to arrive early to get a good viewing spot. The park’s concession stands will be open in the evening, selling snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.
Please be reminded that pets are not permitted on the premises during community events. In case of rain, the movie will be shown in the auditorium of Acre High School. The first showing appears below. For a complete list, visit www.hillcrestcity.gov/parks/moviefestival. We hope to see a great turnout!
