Marshall Investment Firm has selected three developing companies for its second annual Business Innovators Program. The 4-week program, which begins on June 3rd, provides entrepreneurs from the chosen companies with a team of experts. Free guidance and consulting services are given to help bring these businesses into the public market. Participants will be trained on marketing strategies, building a business model, and securing investors. The companies taking part this year are Valu-Tech, a programming firm that specializes in creating applications for smart phones; CityStyle.com, a web-based source of information on tourist attractions and points of interest in the country's major cities; and Pro Communicators, an online language learning lab. The program received about 100 applications for its three slots, up from just 47 last year. Executives at the firm decided to start this program as a way to support entrepreneurs who are contributing to the market in a positive way. A spokesperson said the company hopes to expand the program to include more businesses next year. |
