Re: Parking Allocations

There are only a limited number of parking spaces available at our new office in Thorndon, so we will not be able to assign each employee their own space once we relocate there next week.
After careful consideration, we have devised an allocation system which we believe is fair and
reasonable. All senior executives and sales staff will receive a permanent parking space, owing
to the demands of these particular jobs. The remaining spaces will be assigned on a rotational
basis to other employees. We are currently working on a parking roster which will outline who
gets which space and on which day.  This will be made available on the company intranet as
soon as it is completed and approved by the management.
We would like to encourage employees affected by the change in policy to consider alternative
modes of transport. Instead of regarding this change as an inconvenience, think of it as an
opportunity to walk, cycle, carpool or take public transportation to the office. Small travel
allowances will be made available for employees who choose to take up one of these options.

Thank you,
The Administration Team
